Two pictures of sculptures were texted to me. I drew out several ideas, and decided on a design.

The pendant was based on this picture while the earrings were designed from the first picture.

I rolled out the silver clay, textured one side, and cut out the designs. After firing,the set was patinaed. Then the bale and earrings were added.

I originally planned for the textured side to be the back, and the "front" to be the plain, shiny side. But, when I saw the textured side after the patina, I changed my mind.

The set was a birthday surprise. Caroline was certainly surprised, and as evidenced by the smile, also quite pleased.
